3 Twists on Mashed potatoes

 

 

Pesto mashed potatoes

 


Creamy Mashed Potatoes with Basil Pesto by Pamela Reed

 

Ingredients

2 kg of boiled potatoes

½ cup of butter

¼ cup of cream cheese

¼ cup of milk

Salt and pepper to taste

 

Pesto sauce

Bouquet of basil

2 teaspoons of pine

5 tablespoons of olive oil

¼ cup of Parmesan cheese

 

How to prepare

Mash potatoes well. Add butter, cheese, milk, salt and spic, mix them until smooth.

For the pesto sauce, mix all ingredients in the electric blender; wait until the mixture becomes smooth.

Mix pesto sauce with mashed potatoes and serve hot.

 

 

 

 

Garlic mashed potatoes

Ingredients

5 cloves of garlic

1 tablespoon of olive oil

½ teaspoon of salt

2 kg of boiled potatoes

¼ cup of fresh cream

3 tablespoons of butter

 

How to prepare

Peel garlic, then grease with olive oil and salt. Wrap them in aluminum foil, put in a preheated oven, and cook until tender.

Meanwhile, mash the potatoes well.

Heat the cream and melt the butter in it, then mix it with garlic and potatoes, until the mixture becomes smooth.

 

 

 

Mashed potatoes with caramelized onions

 


Caramelized Onions Mashed Potatoes by Crunchy Creamy Sweet

 

Ingredients

3 kg of boiled potatoes

2 tablespoons of unsalted butter

¼ cup of fresh cream

Salt and pepper to taste

1 medium onion, chopped

2 teaspoons of mashed garlic

2 tablespoons of butter

1 tablespoon of olive oil

1 teaspoon brown sugar

1 teaspoon of soy sauce

 

How to prepare

Mash potatoes with butter and cream. Add salt and spice.

In a large pan over the heat, put olive oil and one tablespoon of butter. Add garlic and onions. Leave on mixture until blond.

Add the second spoon of butter; keep stirring the mixture until the onions are blond. Add the brown sugar to the soy sauce.

Remove the onions from heat them add them to the mashed potato.

Serve immediately.
