Paris Fashion week Spring SS21’s most glamorous looks

It’s only been two days since Paris Fashion week kicked off and we couldn’t but turn all our radars on. We have been watching everything, makeup looks, accessories, street style, and most importantly the new “on-our-list” looks. Here’s our best-of from Paris Fashion week so far.

 

Balmain

Welcome the glamrous world of creative director Olivier Rousteing. Neons in pink, green and blue, bold shoulders, Power suits and so many glitters were on the runway. While scrolling through the looks, you’ll definitely guess that it’s a Balmain. We loved the full neon suit in green, as well as a red shiny latex look with a white shirt and sock boots, and some metallic looks that Kylie and Kim will definitely be fighting over.

 

 

Carolina Herrera

Classy, feminine, and bold. That is the Herrera woman and Wes Gordon made all that happen. Here are some spotted notes of the creative director: “Fashion is a way to celebrate the beauty of special moments, and making ordinary moments extraordinary… I wanted to create a collection that is a reflection of this moment in our lives, through the prism of optimism, color, and celebration of the women that have been part of the fabric of Carolina Herrera.” and the American fashion designer made colors more saturated, and volumes even more voluminous. The feminine vibe we got used to for a Herrera woman was obvious with the fine tailoring. Dramatic sleeves and polka dots were there with more luminous embroideries. 
 

 

Kenzo

The “Please leave distance” vibes continued with Kenzo, this time with giant netted beekeepers hats. 

In a lush floral garden, the Kenzo show titled “Bee a Tiger” by Felipe Oliveira Baptista featured so many flowers. We loved dresses decorated with digitally printed florals, as well as lightweight parkas and tracksuit bottoms in vibrant, bold shades.

 

 

 

Dries Van Noten

In a spring 2021 lookbook, the designer shot his collection on a beach in Rotterdam. Vivid mix of pop colors, unusual prints, there was black papery cotton dresses with cutout necklines, an oversized printed parka with a new inkjet technique. Check out our picks from his collection.
