Makeup: what’s in and what’s out

In:

More natural: As we take a look at the celebrities’ latest photos, we notice than makeup is getting lighter especially when it came to foundations. The less product you see, the more natural you will look.

There is nothing wrong with shadows alone without eyeliner: eyeliner is a very powerful makeup product, it can shape your eyes and give them volume. However, applying a mixture of shades correctly without eyeliner gives you a softer look.

Focus on one part: If you go strong on the lips, go easy on the eyes and vice versa.  Colors give you a bold and edgy look especially with monochrome clothes and dark shades.

Out:

Fake freckles: if you don't have freckles on your face, would you make them up?  This trend that has been around since at least 2015 is now fading away, just like you would wash your faux freckles.

Lots of glitters: Glitter is perfect for weddings, major events, or even evening parties. But why apply sparkling shades during the day? It’s not flattering, as glitter can easily migrate and go in the fine lines,  and in the light, it can appear almost like dirt or debris on the skin.
