Among those talents, we spotted Dania Shinkar, founder of the Dublin-based eponymous label of contemporary luxury bag brand. Dania Shinkar, the young Saudi Arabian fashion designer who graduated from London College of Fashion in 2017, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Textile Print Design. At the Vancouver Fashion Week, she presented two collections: the graduate collection and the handbags for Spring/Summer 2018. Later, she pursued her Master's studies and majored in Fashion Entrepreneurship and Innovation in 2019, and her passion for the concepts she learned during the Bag Design course encouraged her to launch her eponymous luxury handmade bag brand in the same year. Read on to discover 3 things we love about her brand.

 

Sustainability is at the heart of the brand’s DNA

Her collection features sustainable handbags inspired by architectural elements and vintage designs. Their color options include grey, blue, and light brown. Each handbag is crafted from eco-friendly material and recycled leather to align with the brand’s core value, sustainability.

The talented Saudi Arabian designer reinterprets vintage designs with a modern and innovative style. This Hawazen bag in ruby red and grey is perfect to add a splash of color to a black outfit. The design showcases a semi-circular shape with an eco-friendly handle made purely from cellulose acetate. 

 

 

 

Dania Shinkar’s Spring/Summer 2021 collection also showcases black leather handbags that go well with leather boots for a classy look.
