What to watch on Netlfix this September?

If you missed August Netflix’s releases, you can always watch them in your free time. However, if you are looking for more options to binge watch this month, we got you covered. New series are coming this September on Netlfix, whether you like thriller, drama, horror or comedy. Here’s what’s coming on Netflix this month.

 

Young Wallander

This young, edgy, and modern series sees Henning Mankell’s iconic detective Kurt Wallander investigate his gripping first case. The story focuses on the formative experiences – professional and personal - faced by Kurt as a recently graduated police officer in his early twenties.

The first season of the series, which consists of 6 episodes, is set to be released on September 3rd, 2020.

 

 

 

AWAY

On September 4th, a new Netflix series will take us into space and tell us the story of Emma Green, an American astronaut who must leave her husband and teenage daughter behind in order to command an international space crew embarking upon a three year-long mission, starring two-time Academy Award winner Hilary Swank. 

 

 

 

 

The Gift

 

The Turkish Netflix series is coming back for a second season on September 10th, after being premiered for the first time in December 2019. Starred by the Turkish star Beren Saat, the series is based on a novel about a painter in Istanbul who embarks on a personal journey as she unearths universal secrets about an Anatolian archaeological site and its link to her past.

 

 

 

The Duchess

If you want to binge on comedy series,The Dutchess might be the one for you. It takes you behind the life of a single mom, Katherine, who is juggling between her career, her daughter, her relationship with her boyfriend, and pondering getting pregnant with her ex.

 

 

 

 

Ratched

The psychological horror drama series, based on the 1962 novel One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kesey will start streaming on Netflix starting September 18th. Sarah Paulson will take the lead role in the series as “Nurse Ratched”, who seeks employment at a leading psychiatric hospital before she becomes jaded and bitter, turning into a full-fledged monster to her patients.
