Balqees Fathi’s Song Reached 1M in Four Days

Four days after the release of "HemtouBithabiyin", which is a poem to Ibn AbdRabbih Al-Andalusi, from the poems of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Emirati star BalqeesFathi has reached more than a million views on YouTube.

Balqees sang the song, composed by Abdul Rahman Muhammad, in Modern Written Arabic, and instead of recording the song in studio, she used her home studio for the first time to record her songs due to the pandemic. Balqees has previously announced that she would use her home studio to record her upcoming songs, which she will reveal soon gradually.

Also, the music video was apparently filmed in her home whereBalqeesshowed up very casual with barely makeup on and wearing some comfy clothes. The video went viral, liked by her fans around the region.

“Hemtou Bi Thabiyin" was not Balqees’s first experience in singing in Modern Written Arabic. She previously took part in the classic operetta "Tasamoh", one of her fans’ favorite songs.
