On Tuesday and for the first time, international star Mariah Carey performed in Saudi Arabia at the mesmerizing outdoor Bay La Sun resort in Jeddah. First time also happening, Carey’s performance was a part of the first-ever European Golf Tournament in the Kingdom. Mariah followed a huge list of A-stars who performed in the Gulf country last December such as Enrique Iglesias, the Black Eyed Peas, and One Republic.

The concert kicked off with Carey entering the stage singing “It’s Like That” and wearing a black, slim gown from Kuwaiti deisgner Yousef Aljasmi. The dazzling design featured long sleeves and was embroidered with thousands of tiny crystals. With its high neck and long hemline, the gown was both glamorous and conservative as for the country. Mariah Carey also wore another design by Aljasmi for the 2018 American Music Awards.

Carey performed for over two hours with hit songs such as “Shake It Off”, “Love Takes Time”, “Make It Happen”, “I Don’t Wanna Cry”, “Hero”, and “We Belong Together”.
