For her Autumn-Winter 2024 show, unveiled on Saturday, March 2, at the Garde Républicaine in Paris, Nadège Vanhee, the artistic director of women's collections at Hermès, offered a collection in total harmony with the season. The daytime rain extends into the show's scenography, acting as a disturbing mirror. The garments are tailored to beautifully confront the elements.

Seasonal Chic

The Hermès woman buckles her overcoat, tightens the cords of a trench coat, and zips up the collar of her jacket. She adorns herself in shiny, resilient leathers, available in slit skirts, supple shirts, or rigid overcoats in earthy browns, soft butter, taupe gray, or deep blacks. She wears riding jackets over leather leggings paired with biker boots. She embodies an equestrian biker, carried by a wind of freedom. Her wardrobe mixes references, for instance, a biker jacket whose structure bears the imprint of a saddle or a sophisticated cream leather jacket, as if adorned with horsehair.
