For the dough

1 large onion, cut into quarters
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of condiment
½ teaspoon of oregano
½ teaspoon dry mint
½ teaspoon of cumin
½ teaspoon ground basil
½ kilo of finely ground beef
1 ½ cup of fine bulgur, soaked and drained

For the stuffing

2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
1 small onion finely chopped
200 g ground veal
2 teaspoons of pine
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil

How to prepare

Mix the onions and spices using an electric blender, then add meat and bulgur to it, blend it until a coherent dough is obtained.

In a pan over the heat, cook the onions in oil until they turn blond. Add pine and meat and cook mixture until done.

Divide Kibbeh dough into two parts. Spread the first part on a round tray greased with oil. The dough should be molded with wet fingers!

Fill it with meat stuffing, then the second part of the dough on top.

Cut it with a sharp knife into shapes and grease its top with oil.

Put in preheated oven until roasted.

Serve with yogurt and cucumber.
