Top 10 most streamed songs in UAE

It seems that the new music wave is heading towards hip-hop songs, which are increasingly streaming in the UAE, according to Spotify, one of the best music streaming and media services provider in the world. The Swedish music application has recently released the most streamed songs over the past months of summer 2020 on its platform.

American rapper DaBaby topped both the UAE and global lists with his song ROCKSTAR, featuring Roddy Ricch, which was released on April 2020, before becoming the most streamed song this summer on Spotify.

While the growth of interest in music is rising towards hip-hop/ rap songs, an Arab rap song ranked second after ROCKSTAR on Spotify’s most streamed songs in the UAE, as DJ-MK's song "Wanasa" has gained success during summer with its youthful vibes.

Hip-hop songs continue to rank the top 10 places of Spotify's most-streamed songs between June and August 2020 in the UAE, to name few rappers who made an entry in the list: Drake, The Weeknd, and Travis Scott .
