Mouawad unveils the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA Crowns

For more than a century, World-renowned luxury jeweler Mouawad has been creating timeless pieces with an artistic excellence, outstanding expertise, trusted relationships and deep passion for crafting the extraordinary. On November 7, in the historical Graceland in Memphis and in presence of Paula M. Shugart, President of The Miss Universe Organization, and fourth-generation Mouawad Co-guardian Pascal Mouawad, the high jewelry house has unveiled the Miss USA® and Miss Teen USA® Diamond Crowns at an exclusive reveal reception, which only VIP guests witnessed, due the coronavirus restrictions.

 

Mouawad, with 5 Guinness World Records crafted the extraordinary one more time with the crowns, and it was no surprise. Take a closer look to the new crowns that you will be able to try on! Yes, you heard us right.

 

 

Each crown is unique in its own way, telling the story of a precise craftsmanship, and delivering a message through its design. Inspired by the values of the Miss Universe Organization, they both feature motifs of petals, leaves and vines, crafted in 18-karat gold and set with white diamonds, to represent united and empowering bonds among the United States. The United States flag is evoked through star motifs, with selected gemstones embodying the colors of the flag and reflecting the values associated with each color: red for strength, white for the goodness within, and blue for a just and equal society.  

 

In the Mouawad Miss Teen USA® Power of Hope Crown, the crown’s centerpieces are five blue tanzanite gemstones with diamond sand shimmer.

 

 

 

For the Mouawad Miss USA® Power of Positivity Crown, the crown’s centerpieces, five blue tanzanite gemstones haloed by diamonds, are complemented by ruby, blue sapphire and tanzanite and shimmer with an effervescence that evokes positivity, carrying the message that by uniting and sharing positivity we generate the momentum from which to build a better future.

 

 

 

However, Mouawad’s creative world is not only unveiling the amazing crowns, it’s also giving you the opportunity to try them on. How? Augmented reality (AR) filters to its Instagram followers across the world, allowing them to virtually try on the crowns themselves and create their own social media stories featuring them.
