This New Year’s Eve is sure going to look little different than past years. So you might be having few socially distant drinks, and some really shy dances but this does not mean for a second that bare-face and not-too-festive makeup are allowed.

This year, New Year’s Eve is awakening our wild side, the one that’s excited to play with colors and textures we hesitate to wear the 364 other days of the year.

So here are a bunch of makeup ideas that will sure elevate your New Year’s Eve look and will have all eyes on you.

The Blue Liner

Our real obsession this season? The graphic liner, and we even like it more in blue. While the style looks hard to achieve, it’s actually among the easiest styles. The trick is a fine liquid eyeliner and a steady hand.

Warm tones

You can never go wrong with warm tones, because nudes and brown in all their shades are trendy. All you need is a peachy lipstick just like the one the celebrity makeup artist Hung Vanngo used and you’ll rock the look. This makeup style goes well if you’re opting for a classic chic outfit.

Eyeliner x dark lips

Turn up the drama with a dark lipstick and a fine black eyeliner. Make sure to keep things pretty not goth, just the way Lebanese makeup artist Hilda Dagher emphasized on the feminine and elegant vibe. Perfect for both the holidays and New Year’s Eve.

Emerald Green

This emerald green makeup look, by the talented Saudi makeup artist Yara Ahmed is definitely worth all the layers and the blending. Layer some shimmery green-toned eyeshadows and you’re ready to ring in 2021.

Red and Glossy

Far beyond the classic red we usually see, Jordaian makeup artist Razan Al Salman nailed a 70’s-inspired look with glossy red lipstick paired with voluminous lashes and a super-glowy skin. A perfect combination for you classic New Year’s eve look, just make sure your outfit is not too revealing to avoid exaggeration.

Sky-inspired

Nothing screams unique better than the tones of the dark sky: Dark purples mixed with blues and blacks. You can go for this makeup style if you’re on the chic but casual look for New Year’s Eve.

Silver metals

The never-out-of-style makeup look is the silver metallic that can make you look the funkiest and edgiest woman in the room. If you’re going to a real party on New Year’s Eve, then think no more, this makeup is what you need to be the most eye-catching.
