5 Ways To Wear The Oversized Shirt This Summer

I literally have more than 5 oversized shirts and I can’t hold myself from buying one when I see it, no matter the color or the design. Oversized? Taken! 

The reason I have an infinite love for this garment it’s that I can take it anywhere, to the office, to dinner, to a date, to a formal meeting, to the beach… literally everywhere! 

However, styling the oversized shirt is not complicated but has to be far away from boring and traditional. The piece itself is a statement so you do not need to add much sophistication to the look. You can for example style it with your casual and regular essentials (pants/shorts/skirt…) and then go bold when it’s accessories time. I would go for a few layered chain necklaces, or a statement earring (either this or that), a hair accessory, an oversized tote bag, a pair of white sneakers or maybe high-heeled mules depending on the occasion and styling.

Leading infleuncer Camille Charrière chose a striped oversized shirt in white and blue. She styled it with a straight-cut denim pants and added a black classic bag. She chose a pair of Havaianas flip flops mixing both, casual and trendy.

We can now call Rosie Huntington-Whiteley “Queen of Business Casual”. The English model and entrepreneur went full white and chose an olive green oversized shirt which she left open and added an olive green casual clutch. Her flip-flop heeled sandals are definitely the it-trend.
