Now that the weather is warmer, you might want to switch your wardrobe to summer edition. Every summer wardrobe must include light flowy garments and sandals of course! Sandals are probably the most worn shoes during summer, they go with formal events and perfect for a casual look. Therefore, we switched our attention towards the trendiest sandals this summer and their different styles.
Chain-link Sandals
This fancy embellishment was added to this summer’s sandals as seen in Proenza Schouler SS20 collection. Also, the ankle chain-link mesh sandals at Bottega Venetta’s runway were eye-catching.
Strappy Sandals
Straps and ankle-straps took over Versace’s SS20 collection; the strappy sandals were either wrapped around the ankle or the leg. Khaite’s SS20 collection included some strappy details for sandals, as they were crossed and wrapped around the ankle.
Asymmetric Sandals
Sandals don’t need to be symmetrical to be perfect for you! If you’re wondering how sandals can be asymmetrical well, check Givenchy’s sandals that are designed off-center. Asymmetric sandals were also spotted in a more minimalist design at A.W.A.K.E. Mode’s SS20 runway.
Gladiators
Ever dreamed of being a Greek goddess? It is time to reincarnate Greek goddesses look this summer with gladiator sandals woven in raffia fibers as spotted in Christian Dior’s spring collection. Also, gladiators had their moment at Valentino’s SS20 show, with rock-stud and feather embellishments.

Valentino
Mid-heel Sandals
Fendi made a statement with its block mid-heel sandals during SS20 runway, which came with a buckle fastening and slingback strap.
