Miley Cyrus Makes Waves with Eighties-Inspired Look at Grammy Awards

Alongside Emily Ratajkowski who stunned in Yeti-Inspired outfit for Moncler, the singer Miley Cyrus made a striking entrance in a golden dress and voluminous hair, heavily influenced by the eighties for the Grammy Awards.
While the Grammy Awards on February 4th were marked by a surprise appearance from Celine Dion and the success of Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus also made waves. Particularly by winning two awards for the best record of the year (with her song "Flowers") and best pop solo performance. But it was her hairstyle that really caught attention. The singer arrived in a spectacular dress worthy of Cleopatra, designed by Maison Margiela.

However, it was her voluminous hair that really stood out. While some saw a nod to Tina Turner, reinforced by the glittering second outfit she wore on stage, others on social media made less flattering comparisons.
Indeed, as reported by the Daily Mail, some amused themselves by drawing parallels with actor Kurt Russell in the 1980s. Or even with Margaret Thatcher. Fortunately, one internet user saw it more as a meeting between Jane Fonda and Farah Fawcett. One thing is for sure: the eighties influence is undeniable.
In any case, Miley Cyrus perfectly embodies the trend of the return of the blowout, amidst the Mob Wife phenomenon and the recent Marc Jacobs fashion show, which took place this weekend and showcased elevated volume.
