When Sydney Sweeney stepped onto the red carpet at Hollywood’s TCL Chinese Theatre, it wasn’t just another movie premiere, it was the unveiling of a whole new look. The American actress, known for her long golden waves, surprised everyone with a fresh wavy blonde bob that instantly stole the spotlight at the Christy premiere during the 2025 AFI FEST.

The bold hair chop marked a striking departure from her signature style. Framed softly around her face, the new cut brought a playful effortless glamour that feels both classic and completely of the moment.

Sweeney embraced a fairytale mood in a custom baby-pink lace Miu Miu gown, The halter dress, featuring a belted drop waist and cascading lace layers, trailed behind her in a romantic, dreamy movement.

Moreover, it appears that the message this season from Hollywood is clear: fall 2025 is all abut the bob haircut.

Janet Jackson attended Dancers Against Cancer's 2025 Gala Of The Stars on October 21 in Beverly Hills. She wore her hair in a long bob in a honey blonde color with a side part and soft, beachy waves.

Actress Brittany Snow, appeared at an event with the SAG-AFTRA Foundation in Los Angeles on October 27, opting for a bob, with a middle part with her front pieces tucked behind her ears and a bold flip at the ends.

With others icons like Iman and Naomi Watts recently debuting their own takes on the cut, Sweeney’s transformation might be another confirmation — the bob is back, and it’s more glamorous than ever.
