Georges Chakra's Fall - Winter 2018/2019 Collection for Paris Couture Week
10-July-2018
The Autumn - Winter 2018/2019 fashion show of couturier Georges Chakra was held at the Palais de Tokyo, as part of Paris Couture Week.
Georges Chakra happily sows his own perception of modern beauty with a hint of last century's style that is mysterious, eccentric.
Black is authoritative, whereas silver, red, shocking pink and flamboyant orange disrupt the established order of black.
The pleated tulle, the minimistically cut chiffon, a thousand sheets of gauze, sometimes find themselves delicately resting on a dress, a jacket, a collar or even a skirt.
Shine with lamé lace, luminous velvet, jet, crystals and sequins.
Structured volumes, corseted busts, marked sizes show off a proud silhouette.
Graphic effects are given with those cuts that are outlined with velvet ribbons.
The tulle, omnipresent in the collection, is adorned with a thousand lights for a wedding dress in perfect parity between fragility and power.
