Growing up in Iran, Naza Yousefi was intrigued by the enthusiasm and energy Middle Eastern women would put into their style decisions. The young designer moved to London to pursue her career in the styling industry, and in 2016, Yousefi launched her handbag label, Yuzefi, offering packs including modern motivated rushes in interesting shapes with no traditional joints, gussets, or sewing. Her first collection sold out at Browns and Farfetch within three days of launch.
Currently the collection is available in the Middle East in Kuwait, Qatar, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates, and you can find it online on Farfetch, Net-a-porter and Moda Operandi among others.
Naza Yousefi defines the philosophy of her label as : “Yuzefi’s unique aesthetic is a mélange of leather craft techniques previously overlooked in handbag design. Meticulously developed and handcrafted in London, the instantly recognizable styles have been a cult success with press and influencers worldwide, cultivating a following for the brand’s diminutive yet versatile range of bags.”
