First, determine your skin type
Start by getting to know your skin well. Do you suffer from dehydration? Is your skin oily or mixed? Do you suffer from skin impurities such as pigmentation and the effects of acne? Do you have a lot of wrinkles and other signs of aging? You can visit a dermatologist or a beauty clinic for a clear answer.
Glowy makeup for dry skin
If you have dry skin, stay away from matte makeup products. Their composition is usually thick or heavy, and this may contribute to clogging the pores of your skin and to more skin dryness. Glowy makeup fits perfectly with dry skin as it gives it that perfect shine.
Go matte if you have an oily skin
If you have oily skin and want to minimize its shiny appearance, just rely on matte cosmetics. It's best to choose a medium coverage because full coverage weighs on the skin and looks like a second layer on the face. You can also use pressed powder to control gloss over the daytime, especially when the weather is hot and humid. This step should definitely be avoided if your skin is dry.
