What are the benefits of having dates with milk dates before Iftar?
- Dates contain potassium, magnesium, phosphorous, and zinc, as well as vitamin A, vitamin D, and antioxidants.
- Milk has many properties and is a rich source of calcium and phosphorus, thus it would prevent its deficiency during fasting.
- Dates with milk prevent thirst during fasting.
- Provides the body with vitamins and minerals.
- Dates with milk contain monosaccharides, which help in strengthening muscles and stimulate brain function.

Ingredients:
¼ kg of dates (without pits)
1L of liquid milk
How to prepare:
- Heat the milk in a pot, wait until it boils.
- Add dates to milk on a low heat.
- Remove from heat and pour the mixture in serving cups
- Place cups in the refrigerator for 4 hours or more.
- You can garnish with coconuts.
