Jessica Simpson’s Trainer Reveals How She Lost 45 Kilos

Jessica Simpson’s longtime trainer, Harley Pasternak, revealed how the American actress and singer was able to lose 100 pounds (45 kgs), after giving birth to her third child Birdie Mae in March 2019.
A Public Affair singer has been focused on making small lifestyle changes to lose weight healthily. The Canadian trainer said that she started out by walking 6,000 steps per day.
Simpson used to increase her steps every time until she was able to walk 14,000 steps per day. She first showed off her results last September, Simpson has been able to keep up the routine.
As for her diet, Harley said that Simpson focused on eating 3 healthy, protein-packed meals a day and two snacks. Instead of one cheat day, she would have several cheat meals throughout the week, which didn’t let her feel deprived of her favorite foods, Pasternak added.



"It had to be more than just getting back from her baby weight… We are not a big fan of doing any extreme diet or radical forms of exercise," he told E! News in an interview.
Harley also pointed out to one overlooked component of weight loss: getting enough sleep. He said: "So many people undervalue the importance of sleep in weight loss and weight management."
