British pop singer Tara McDonald released her new song, Skeletons, featuring the young Tunisian star Mahdi Baccouch. It is an enthusiastic urban-pop song that portrays dark past and memories of a story that have been kept under wraps.
Mahdi wrote the Arabic part of the song in his Tunisian dialect, while the music was composed by both artists, Mahdi and Tara, and many musicians such as Ugo Benferta, MouradSaadi, Laurent Jaccoux, Kyle MacKenzie and others, distributed by Universal Music MENA.
Tara expressed her happiness to have this opportunity with Mahdi Baccouch whom she described as "a unique talented artist" and said: "I always wanted to collaborate with an Arab artist. This project is a dream come true to me, especially that Skeletons is my first song to be in English and Arabic.”
"It is a duet, bringing together two different cultures. Our voices were beautifully harmonized and brought us together despite our differences and showed the world that our unity is our strength. This is how I see the future of music,” she added.
As for Mahdi, he shared his enthusiasm as well, considering that bringing cultures together enriches art. Music is an effective way to show the importance of diversity and equality.

“Skeletons” was previously released by Tara in its English version with a music video on YouTube, before collaborating with Mahdi Baccouch.
