Lebanese Sfouf with Almonds

 

Ingredients

1 ½ cup of flour

1 ½ cup of fine semolina flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

3 tablespoons of turmeric

2 teaspoons of fine anise

½ cup vegetable oil

1 ½ cup of milk

1 cup of sugar

2 tablespoons of almonds

 

How to prepare

Mix the flour, semolina flour, baking powder, turmeric and anise.

Add oil and milk then sugar and mix until smooth.

Pour the mixture into a greased tray, then garnish with almonds and place them in a preheated oven for 20 minutes.

After cooling down, cut the sfoufs into squares.
