French Spinach Gratin

Ingredients
1 onion, chopped
1 tablespoon of olive oil
2 tablespoons of flour
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 teaspoon of oregano
3 cups of chopped spinach
1 cup of milk
1/2 cup heavy cream
3 tablespoons of melted butter
1 cup of bread crumbs
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
How to prepare
Cook the onions in oil in a saucepan over a fire until golden. Add flour and stir for 30 seconds.
Add salt, pepper, oregano and spinach. Cover the saucepan and leave it on the stove until the spinach wilts.
Add the milk and cream, then transfer the mixture to an oven greased tray.
Mix the butter, breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese and sprinkle the mixture over the gratin.
Place the gratin in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the surface is brown.
Serve the gratin hot.
