D BEIRUT: A NEW DESTINATION FOR CREATIVITY IN BEIRUT
2-November-2016
D BEIRUT, a new destination for creativity in Beirut, was inaugurated in the presence of Lama Tammam Salam, ambassadors, guests, artists, fashion designers, gallery owners and media.
D BEIRUT is located on the coastal road of Bourj Hammoud in a historic industrial area with examples of architecture of the 70s. It is a unique platform for art, craft, design and wellbeing. The area is becoming a new center of culture and nightlife, offering visitors a spectacular view of the city.
D BEIRUT belongs to the Jureidini family that is committed to transform the factory building of the 70s into a dynamic and creative destination, offering the city a new artistic pole in a great neighborhood, and maintaining the historical, urban and industrial spirit of the area.
"Our ambition is to bring together entrepreneurs as well as local and international players leading to a collective creation like no other. The industrial building is in line with this multidisciplinary arts community," said Eric Jureidini, owner of D BEIRUT.
D BEIRUT welcomes architects, artists, fashion designers, imagegraphers and a yoga studio.
The rooms are: Carwan Gallery (contemporary design gallery), Garen Demirdjian (fashion designer), Karim Bekdache Studio (architecture and design), Raafat Karimeh (fashion and consulting), Roger Moukarzel - Minimal production (imagegraphy), Solarco (manufacturing custom kitchens), Vick Vanlian (architecture and design) and YOGA SOUK (yoga studio).
The building also offers an indoor and outdoor space and multifunctional events dedicated to revive the place.
