Lilac was one of the must-have colors for Fall 2020, and it is still in this spring.
Are you worried you might look like a piece of candy or like a bridesmaid if you go for lilac? Don’t be. This soft and feminine tone has a youthful and fresh spin to it that we all need right now. And it’s perfect for spring and summer wardrobes. Lilac is actually the pale incarnation of purple, the royal color by definition, and this powdery pastel lilac goes well with other shades such as white, blue, black, sage green, yellow and pink, and it flatters every skin tone. Perfect for evening looks (we all remember Amal Clooney wearing a lilac Atelier Versace dress at Venice Film Festival 2017), lilac is the shade that elevates day looks as well. For today’s look, we got inspired by one of Priyanka Chopra’s outfits, as it is both modest and chic. We paired a lilac tulle skirt with the timeless white shirt, and we accessorized the look with a pink Chanel bag and a tie-dye buckle belt to add some edginess to this feminine look. We teamed the outfit with statement Amina Muaddi sandals. Keep scrolling to get some inspiration and shop your favorite pieces.
