Nail Art Trend: Selena Gomez’ Louboutin Manicure

Selena Gomez rocked a French manicure inspired by Christian Louboutin’ iconic red bottom heels. Her nail artist Tom Bachik revealed, via a pic on Instagram, a behind-the-scenes shot during Global Citizen's VAX Live: The Concert to Reunite the World event on May 8, that showed Selena Gomez’ 'French twist with a flipside' as the celebrity manicurist captioned his post.

 

 

The American nail artist, who refers to himself “Celebrity 'MAN'icurist” with some humor in his IG bio, does the nails of many celebs including Jennifer Lopez and Margot Robbie. To get the singer’s and Rare Beauty founder’s look, he used OPI’s Black Onyx on top, then painted a thick curve along the oval-shaped tips using OPI's Alpine Snow, and finished with the brand’s Big Apple Red on the back of each nail for a hot and fierce surprise.

 

 

However, this very couture-like twist is not new. We have indeed spotted many Christian Louboutin nail art inspo on Instagram, and we have a crush over the nude/red duo; classic yet bold.
