NASA has discovered 7 Earth-like planets
They’re potentially habitable!
23-February-2017

Imagine it’s the end of the world and planet Earth is going to blow to pieces. Instead of experiencing the live version of “The Day After Tomorrow”, you can now move to another planet – maybe. NASA has discovered 7 earth-like planets orbiting a star 40 light-years away. Yes, earth-like. It means there’s a high possibility that they’re suitable for life. Isn’t that exciting? Those planets orbit around a star in a whole other solar system called Trappist-1.
The space agency also thinks that liquid water could exist on the surface of those planets and they have the same rocky structure than our planet. Does it mean there could be life there right now? We’ll have to wait for NASA to figure that out...
