3 ways to prepare fried rice

Filipino fried rice



2 cups cooked long rice

2 tablespoons of olive oil

3 garlic cloves, crushed

Salt and pepper to taste


How to prepare

In a frying pan over a fire, cook garlic in olive oil until golden.

Add rice and cook for 5 minutes. Add salt and pepper.

Serve the rice hot.




Fried rice with salmon




3 tablespoons of soy sauce

1 teaspoon brown sugar

1 tablespoon of olive oil

1 red onion, diced

1 sweet red pepper, diced

2 garlic cloves, crushed

1 teaspoon fresh ginger

3 eggs, beaten

4 cups of cooked rice

1 cup of frozen peas

2 cups of cooked salmon, cut into large cubes

2 green onions, chopped

1 tablespoon of coriander garnish


How to prepare

Mix brown sugar and soy sauce. Set aside.

Cook the onions in oil with pepper, garlic, and ginger for a minute.

Add the eggs, then the rice and stir for a few minutes.

Add peas with salmon, green onions, then the soy mixture and remove the mixture from the heat.

Serve hot rice and garnish with coriander.




Mexican style fried rice




4 large eggs, beaten

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons of olive oil

1 small onion, diced

1/2 green and 1/2 red bell peppers, cubed

3 cloves of garlic

1 tablespoon of chili

1/2 tablespoon of cumin

1 teaspoon of paprika

2 and a half cups of cooked rice

1/2 cup chopped coriander


How to prepare

In a pot over stove, cook eggs with oil and stir with salt and pepper until soft. Remove from heat and set aside.

In the same bowl, cook onions and pepper for 2 minutes. Add garlic, chili, cumin, and paprika.

Add the rice over the mixture with the beaten eggs, then the coriander.

The plate can be garnished with shredded cheese and chopped avocado before serving.
