You Want to Make Your Eyes Look Bigger?

Although beauty has no standards, however, bigger eyes are always flattering and are actually perceived to be younger as well.

If you have small eyes, don’t panic! You can actually make them look bigger thanks to the power of makeup. Beauty Mogul Huda Kattan shared some useful hacks on how to achieve big-looking eyes by applying the right eye makeup.

Here are her tips to make your eyes look bigger with makeup:

The Right Concealer Shade

The wrong concealer shade can make your eyes look tiny, according to Huda. Therefore, pick a concealer that is not too light and not too dark compared to your skin tone.

Contour Your Eyelid

Use an eyeshadow shade that is a bit darker than your skin tone and apply it on your brow bone in order to make your eyelid space look bigger.

Highlighting

Huda confirmed that highlighting in the right places will definitely make your eye look bigger. Start by using a shimmery eyeshadow and apply it on the middle of your lower eyelid and a little bit under your brow. Using the same shimmery eyeshadow, apply a bit on your eyes’ inner corner, it is life changing!

Eyeliner

Huda Beauty entrepreneur explained that there’s a misconception about eyeliner that it makes your eyes look tiny, however, as long as you give it a shape your good to go. Therefore, draw your lash line using an eyeliner then wing it. Also, avoid thick eyeliner on the lids if you have small eyes; a thin line will make your eyes look bigger.

Bright Waterline

The trick is to take a white or beige liner instead of black to define your waterline, as it is the easiest way to make your eyes look bigger naturally.

Lashes & Mascara

You can curl your lashes before applying mascara in order to open up the eye and eventually make it look bigger. Don’t forget to apply mascara on your lower lashes! Also, you can add a pair of false lashes, pick the one that flatters your eye shape.
