The pumpkin beverage gives its name to a new trendy nail art for the autumn, which the actress succumbed to.
After the reign of the milky nails manicure among celebrities, a new nail art trend inspired by another drink, the "Pumpkin spice latte," is emerging. The dark orange color of this autumnal beverage, made with coffee, milk, and spices, very popular in the United States, can be seen on the nails of some celebrities this season. The latest to adopt it is Blake Lively, who sported it at the Michael Kors spring-summer 2024 fashion show in New York on September 11, 2023.
The actress's manicurist, Elle Gerstein, describes her work as a "studded leather-inspired look." She achieved this optical effect by applying small rhinestones around the border of each nail painted with this shade of nail polish, which leans toward brownish-orange.
Other celebrities had tried this look before her, such as the model Hailey Bieber, who chose a version with a crocodile skin pattern, and the singer Halle Bailey, who dared to go for a mirror effect.

Viral Trend
It's not just celebrities who are falling for it. The "pumpkin spice latte nail art" trend has gone viral on social media and is also gaining popularity among enthusiasts. As proof, it has accumulated over 484 million views on TikTok alone. Video tutorials demonstrate how to achieve a milky orange blend effect, while others experiment with glittery versions or designs related to Halloween. The entire range of orange shades is being explored, from tangerine to copper, sometimes with brown undertones or leaning towards red.

It's also one of the most promising beauty trends since early September, according to Pinterest's predictions, which noted a fourfold increase in searches related to this theme compared to the previous weeks in August.
