For the 2024 Met Gala, model Kendall Jenner wore a Givenchy Haute Couture Fall Winter 1999 outfit, designed by Alexander McQueen to celebrate “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” the theme of the evening held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art last night, May 6th 2024, in New York, NY.
The archival Givenchy is a long dress in black and nude tulle, with sculptural neckline and shoulders, and a cut-out waist detail, fully embroidered with black and brass beads and sequins. It is an archival piece that was never worn by anyone before.
