2024 Fashion Trust Arabia Awards: Celebrities in Stunning Dresses in Marrakech

The Fashion Trust Arabia (FTA) 2024 honored seven emerging designers from the Middle East and North Africa with cash prizes and mentorship. Among the winners, Nadine Mosallam from Kuwait won for ready-to-wear, Yasmin Mansour from Qatar for evening wear, Reem Hamed from Egypt for accessories, and Saudi trio APOA for jewelry.

Although usually held in Qatar, this year the 6th edition of FTA was held in Marrakech, Morocco and featured a panel of esteemed judges, including Moncler’s Remo Ruffini and Balmain’s Olivier Rousteing. Lebanese co-chair Tania Fares emphasized the importance of supporting Arab creative talents, especially during turbulent times, highlighting Lebanon’s ongoing challenges.

The FTA, established in 2018 by Sheikha Moza bint Nasser and Fares, aims to foster the region's fashion industry as part of Qatar's strategy to diversify its economy and bolster its role as a fashion hub.

Marrakech’s edition drew a star-studded crowd, featuring celebrities from all over the world like Karen Wazen, Zuhair Murad, Carla Bruni and actor Lucien Laviscount. Here is a look on our favorite looks from the night:
