4-June-2025

Pik’d Gallery presented Les Jardins Muranais, a curated collection of Murano glass by Ghady Azar that brings Venetian craft into dialogue with Beirut’s evolving design scene.
The exhibition showcased works by master Murano artists—chandeliers, candleholders, centerpieces, tables, and vases—each meticulously handcrafted in Murano and exclusively commissioned for Pik’d Gallery. Every piece embodies a commitment to contemporary craftsmanship grounded in tradition, offering unique, collectible designs that transcend time and trends.
Murano glass, with all its fragility and resilience, feels especially resonant in Beirut, a city that continues to remake itself in unexpected ways. This exhibition served as a reflection on transformation, capturing the spirit of both the craft and the city.
Pik’d was founded by Randa Missir and has quickly become a leading destination for art and design lovers in Beirut, offering collectors the opportunity to personalize their interiors with distinctive collectible design pieces.
This collaboration with Ghady Azar brought a fresh perspective to Murano glass artistry, blending tradition with contemporary vision and supporting the growth of art and design in Lebanon and beyond, gently broadening how design is experienced.
Complementing the curation, Ghady Azar and Abir Bourgi, under a shared art direction, executed a garden totem-like food art installation, an immersive experience designed to engage the audience through a visually rich and sensorial approach to food.
