BIAF Announces Its 12th Edition, Celebrating Lebanese & Global Achievements in the Heart of Beirut.

The Beirut International Awards Festivals (BIAF), has officially announced the return of the festival with its 12th edition, set to take place on August 2 and 3, 2025, in the heart of the Lebanese capital, Beirut.

A cornerstone of the region’s cultural calendar, BIAF 2025 will honor outstanding achievers from Lebanon, the region and across the globe in the fields of art, music, acting, journalism, entrepreneurship, humanitarian services, and inspirational success stories. Since its inception in 2010, BIAF has become a prestigious platform that celebrates excellence, achievements, and cultural influence, recognizing individuals and entities who have made a lasting impact in their fields.

With twelve editions held to date, the festival has positioned Beirut as a regional capital of innovation, resilience, and global recognition. This year’s edition will be dedicated to the legendary Lebanese poet and philosopher, Saiid Akl, in honor of his profound contributions to Lebanese identity, language, and intellectual thought. Taking over two consecutive days, the festival will begin on August 02 with the Opening Ceremony, featuring a panel discussion with this year’s honorees as they reflect on their achievements and contributions across various fields. The spotlight shifts to August 03, beginning with the Red Carpet at 6:00 PM, followed by the Awards Ceremony at 8:30 PM, broadcasted live on 11 Lebanese and regional TV channels, reaching audiences across Lebanon and the Arab world.

Following the monumental success of BIAF 2024, which took place at the historic Roman Ruins in Downtown Beirut, last year’s edition paid tribute to 24 influential Lebanese figures under the slogan “I Am Lebanese.” Honorees included Nour Arida, Karen Wazen, Assi El Hallani, Nadine Nassib Njeim, Hadii Sharara, and the esteemed institutions each recognized for elevating Lebanon’s image in the world

This year, BIAF continues its mission of honoring those who shape the world through creativity, courage, and purpose, shining a light on the stories that inspire and the legacies that endure. BIAF, presented by SHINE Entertainment, will be in collaboration with Solidere, Turkish Airlines, and HIMO Jewelry.
