Victoria and David Beckham Reveal their Enchanting Garden in the English countryside

This week, David Beckham once again charmed his followers on social media. Not with his athletic feats this time, but by offering a glimpse of the impressive garden he tends with his wife Victoria at their countryside estate in the Cotswolds, in southwest England.

The 50-year-old former footballer plays the role of a passionate gardener, while the fashion designer adds her signature touch of tender humor to their harvest moments.

A lush garden and playful moments

In the video, David Beckham appears from behind a curtain of greenery and exclaims, “Broad beans!”. Without missing a beat, Victoria replies, “I love broad beans.”

What follows is a scene worthy of a countryside film: David, kneeling in the soil, pulls out a perfectly ripe red onion and they carefully waters his plants. “Clean and hygienic,” jokes Victoria as she bites into a fresh bean, before adding, “Dirt is good for your health, my mom always said that.”

A lasting passion

It’s not the first time David Beckham has shared his love for gardening. Last June, he entertained his fans on Instagram with the harvest of a carrot that was “not quite as expected”, a tiny, two-ended specimen that Victoria teasingly called “so disappointing” and “embarrassing.”

David took it in stride, captioning the post: “Exciting day in the vegetable garden — CARROTS! Not exactly what I was expecting, but it gave Lady Beckham a good laugh.”

The joy of simple things

Far from red carpets and fashion runways, the Beckhams seem to have found in their lush countryside retreat a haven where nature, love, and humor harmoniously intertwine.

While the vegetable garden is their favorite playground, the kitchen remains David’s domain. In a story posted by Victoria on October 19, the former athlete is seen preparing a Sunday roast for the whole family. When Victoria offers to help, he quickly replies, “Absolutely not. Don’t come near me!” before adding with a grin, “Darling, we’re not making a grilled cheese sandwich.”
