During the presentation, our magazine sat down with the empowering designer to uncover the inspiration and vision behind this dazzling ode to contemporary womanhood.

You describe your journey as one of resilience and self-discovery. How has your personal story as a mother and woman shaped the essence of your brand?
Motherhood has deepened my sense of connection and empathy, both to myself and to the women I design for. It taught me patience, strength, and the beauty of imperfection. My collections reflect that balance between vulnerability and power, softness and structure, a mirror of the female experience itself.
What was the turning point that pushed you to launch your own label under your name?
There came a moment when I felt an undeniable pull to create something entirely my own, something that carried my personality and style. Launching under my name was both an act of courage and of honesty. It was my way of standing behind every detail and emotion put into the pieces.
Growing up in Egypt, how did your cultural background influence your aesthetic and design philosophy?
Egypt has a special kind of beauty, rich history, warm colors, and contrast everywhere. Growing up surrounded by all of Egypt’s history, from Ancient Egypt to more modern eras, taught me to love detail and balance. My designs often mix those same ideas, a bit of tradition with a modern touch.

What was the emotion or image that inspired your SS26 collection “Éclat de Femme”?
This collection is inspired by the light inside every woman; it's the glow that comes from feeling confident and comfortable in yourself. I wanted the collection to capture the sense of inner radiance of every woman.
Presenting “Éclat de Femme” at Paris Fashion Week is a major milestone and being one of the few female designers showcasing there makes it even more remarkable. What does this achievement represent for you personally and professionally?
It’s honestly a dream come true. Paris Fashion Week is an inspiration; it always has been the destination where fashion rises in the world, and to be part of it feels very special. It’s a reminder of how far I’ve come, and it motivates me to keep pushing forward, especially as a woman designing for women.

How important is craftsmanship in your process, especially when blending delicate materials like satin, lace, and sequins?
It’s everything. Working with delicate fabrics means you have to listen to them; they tell you what they need. Every piece is handled with care and attention. I believe you can feel that love and time spent on every piece when you wear something that’s been truly crafted. True intricate craftsmanship is what makes each of my piece live on forever; it adds the element of timelessness.
You’ve dressed a number emarkable women and celebrities over the years, is there someone who really captures the essence of your style, or someone you consider your ultimate muse?
For me, the muse isn’t just one person. It’s every woman who knows who she is and expresses it in her own way. I’m inspired by women who carry themselves with quiet confidence; that’s the kind of energy I design for.
What does “timeless style” mean to you, and how do you ensure your creations embody it?
Timeless style is something that still feels beautiful years later. It’s not about trends; it’s about emotion and how something makes you feel. I try to design pieces that move with a woman through different moments in her life, that she’ll always reach for and feel good in.
