For Cesar Moukarzel, fashion is a natural extension of a life shaped by memory as the young Lebanese designer approaches clothing with a sensibility rooted in structure and visual storytelling. Every garment is conceived as a space to inhabit — intimate, intentional, and deeply personal.
After graduating with a degree in Architecture from ALBA, Cesar chose to further expand his practice by joining ESMOD Paris, seeking to refine his fashion design skills and deepen his understanding of brand strategy. The move was to give form to ideas that first emerged in 2020, during a time of global rupture, when clothing became a vessel for memory, emotion, and resilience.
This vision has now turned into cesarARCHIVES, a fashion house founded between Paris and Beirut. Built around two complementary lines — cesar, a luxury ready-to-wear collection, and Archives, a series of exclusive, numbered artisanal pieces. It reflects a dual heritage and a dialogue between two cities, two rhythms, and two ways of understanding luxury.

CesarARCHIVES's debut collection “Il pleut sur la prairie » is deeply personal. Its color palette draws inspiration from a nature painting once gifted to his grandmother — a quiet yet powerful emotional reference that shaped the soul of the collection. From warm sunset tones to burnt oranges, soft greens, and earthy hues, the pieces echo landscapes, light, and the serenity of nature. Rather than literal translation, the painting becomes a memory filtered through fabric, movement, and form.

The collection was unveiled in Beirut at Centerstage, a space whose modern orange interior resonated effortlessly with the designer’s vision. Dimly lit and intimate, the setting amplified the warmth of the colors and the tactile quality of the garments, creating an atmosphere that felt both contemporary and deeply emotional.

With this first collection, Cesar Moukarzel introduces a fashion language that is thoughtful, rooted, and sincere. One that resists immediacy in favor of meaning, and positions fashion not as consumption, but as inheritance. Under the manifesto “Tout est à vous” — everything is yours — cesarARCHIVES proposes a vision of luxury as sharing: of stories, of craftsmanship, and of memories made wearable.
