Lana Del Rey and Anne Hathaway made a surprise appearance at the Fall–Winter 2026 Ralph Lauren show in New York.

A Heroine Named Gigi

Gigi Hadid opened the Ralph Lauren show in New York.

It was the beloved top model with the golden doll-like face—who opened the show. Gigi Hadid, immediately captured all eyes in a first look: a black turtleneck layered under a corset and paired with a brown tweed pencil skirt. She also closed the show, wearing a long, flowing velvet gown in the same chocolate shade, cinched at the waist with a wide leather belt and adorned with airy chainmail sleeves. Powerful, elegant, conquering—like all the adventurers in this collection, which blended chic pragmatism and elevated textures across more than fifty materials (tweed, velvet, jacquards, embroidery, scarf prints, leather, and shearling).

To present this conquest-driven show, Ralph Lauren chose the Jack Shainman Gallery, located in Tribeca’s Clock Tower Building—one of Manhattan’s architectural gems. The gallery walls were adorned with hand-painted canvases depicting forest scenes, and the floor was layered with antique rugs. With velvet curtains and worn leather furniture, guests could easily imagine themselves in one of Lauren’s grand estate in Bedford, New York.

Among them were Anne Hathaway, chatting with Anna Wintour, and Lana Del Rey, who quickly stole the spotlight with a surprise arrival alongside her husband, Jeremy Dufrene.

Power and Elegance

The show perfectly embodied feminine strength through pieces in autumnal hues that blended rawness and romance, vintage and contemporary, masculine and feminine. There were magnificently effortless evening gowns alongside chunky knits and tweed jackets, as well as men’s-style pantsuits ideal for the businesswomen of Park Avenue.

A silk velvet dress in thistle purple, embellished with beads, had its femininity heightened by an oversized herringbone jacket. Leather jackets and trousers, as well as leopard-print shearling, further reinforced the strength of these elegant women.

Ties and Chains

Accessories underscored this declaration of independence: oversized ties, riding boots, leather belts accentuating both suits and evening gowns adorned with metal chains, and imposing shawls fastened at the shoulders with vintage brooches.
