Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock reunite for Practical Magic 2 premiere

Nearly three decades after the release of the beloved 1998 cult classic Practical Magic, Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock have reunited on screen for the highly anticipated sequel, Practical Magic 2.

Kidman, 59, and Bullock return to the magical world of the Owens family, reprising their iconic roles as witch sisters Gillian and Sally Owens. The new film follows the sisters as they face a multi-generational curse threatening their family, bringing the story back to its enchanting roots while introducing a new chapter in the lives of the Owens women.

Reflecting on the return of the franchise, Kidman credited its devoted audience for making the sequel possible, saying the latest instalment was made "primarily due to the groundswell of fans." The actress also described the new film as "amazing", celebrating the enthusiasm that has kept Practical Magic alive in popular culture for nearly 30 years.

Directed by Susanne Bier, Practical Magic 2 once again places the female members of the Owens family at the heart of the story. Stockard Channing and Dianne Wiest also reprise their beloved roles as Aunt Frances and Aunt Jet, respectively.

The reunion was equally special off-screen, with Kidman and Bullock sharing hugs, laughter and warm moments as they posed together on the blue carpet at the film's star-studded London premiere. Bullock, who stepped back into the role of Sally Owens, said returning to the character almost three decades later was "easy", proving that some roles never truly leave you.

For the London premiere, Nicole Kidman, a CHANEL Ambassador, embraced an ethereal yet glamorous look from the French Maison. She wore a celadon green bustier dress entirely embroidered with sequins and embellished with a cascade of intertwined chains and pearls, paired with CHANEL shoes.

She completed the look with exquisite CHANEL High Jewelry, including the N°5 drop ring in 18K yellow gold and diamonds, alongside dazzling earrings crafted in 18K yellow gold and adorned with diamonds and beryls.

As Kidman and Bullock step back into the world that first captivated audiences in 1998, Practical Magic 2 offers fans a long-awaited reunion and a chance to revisit one of cinema's most loved sisterhoods.
