Watch out from quarantine, as you might gain weight without even realizing it. You are probably making regular visits to your fridge whenever you feel bored and binge on some chips, cookies or pizzas. This is called stress-eating. In fact, if your eating is not well-organized, you’ll definitely have some extra-pounds at the end of lockdown.
How to control your eating and avoid gaining weight?
Plan your meals
Plan times to eat, number of meals and portions quantity. It is important to stick to your plan to avoid any unwanted pounds. Also, you can use apps like Mealtime or Plan To Eat to keep you on track.
Vegetables
Choose healthy snacks over sugary fat snacks. If you feel like eating something, make sure it’s the healthiest option you can have, like vegetables. Vegetables are a great source of vitamins and they’ll make you feel full without gaining weight.
Use a plate
Always make sure to eat your meals on plate not out of packaging, in order to put a barrier between yourself and the cookie box for instance. It will make you realize how much you ate before devouring the whole bag of chips.
Drink Water
Drinking water will keep your body hydrated and will let you eat less than you normally do, thanks to the feeling of fullness you get after drinking water 30 minutes before your meals.
Burn Calories
Don’t make any more excuses! Put your sneakers on and let’s workout at home for 30 minutes every day. Whether you run on the treadmill or do some cardio exercises indoor, it’s all good to burn some calories
