The 60-seconds Rule for Washing Your Face is a Game-Changer
Your key to a clear skin

Sometimes it is hard to have the perfect looking skin without makeup! But when using the right skincare products, the best skincare routine and the best techniques, we can eventually achieve a smooth clear skin.
One facial wash technique we have learned about 2 years ago is the 60-seconds rule; it is a cleansing method coming from Nayamka Roberts-Smith of LABeautyologist, who confirms that washing your face for 60 seconds straight will help your skin absorbing your cleanser’s ingredients better, to benefit from it. Also, she says that when you cleanse your face for 60 secs, it will break down and dissolve products and grime, but you must pay attention to your skin while cleaning to reach some forgotten spots such as around the edges of your nose, under your chin, and around your hairline.

In fact, the 60-second rule for washing your face is not just another uneffective theory for cleansing, but some have tried it and experienced great results. They saw an improvement after applying the rule for a month.

Expert opinion
Dermatologists have confirmed that the 60-second rule appears easy and effective at the same time, but they insisted on using skin care products that match your skin type. It is useful for people who have poor skincare routine and can get rid of acne, but not permanently.
Dermatologist Mona Gohara said that the 60 secs rule for washing your face can give you softer and glowy skin, as long as you use the right cleanser, since it’ll stimulate circulation. However, this cleansing method won’t wash away your hormones, or your DNA, or any of your other acne-causing triggers, thus it is not a permanent treatment for acne or other skin problems.
