Olive Bread

Ingredients
3 tablespoons of sugar
1 medium egg
½ cup of warm liquid milk
3 tablespoons of butter
½ teaspoon of salt
2 ¼ cups of flour
1 ½ tablespoons of instant yeast
¼ cup of warm water
½ cup of olives (without pits)
1 small egg, beaten to grease the bread
How to prepare
In a large bowl, mix sugar with eggs, milk, butter and salt.
Add flour, yeast and water then knead the dough using your hand until homogeneous. The dough should be a bit sticky in order to stay soft!
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and set aside for 15 minutes.
Add olives to the dough. Divide into 12 balls and line them in a baking tray greased with butter.
Cover with plastic wrap and set aside for an hour until it doubles in size.
Grease bread pieces with scrambled eggs and put them in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until the top turns red.
Serve hot.
