Rihanna has made her debut appearance on The Sunday Times Rich List of musicians in the UK with an estimated fortune of £468 million in 2020, thanks to her fashion and cosmetic brand Fenty under LVMH fashion group.
The Umbrella singer ranked 3rd in the wealthiest musician list in UK, overtaking Sirs Elton John and Mick Jagger. However, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Paul McCartney ranked in first places, with fortunes of £800m.
Robert Watts, who compiles The Sunday Times' annual list, said:
“She somewhat caught us by surprise… most of musicians listed are people who have built themselves with modest beginnings and they are motivated to work very hard.”
Ed Sheeran topped the young musicians list, ranking the 10th place with a fortune of £200m
