International celebrities have come together to support the black community and fight the system’s racism in the US, after the death of the Georges Floyd, which raised riots and protests the last weeks. Lady Gaga has shown support and solidarity by donating to the Black community, and now, she’s giving her Instagram account.
The Chromatica star shared a picture on her Instagram account, with a peace sign on and commented: " I’m giving over my Instagram account to each of the organizations I’ve recently donated to, in an effort to amplify their important voices.”
“I vow to regularly, in perpetuity, across all of my social media platforms, post stories, content, and otherwise lift up the voices of the countless inspiring members and groups within the Black community,” she added.
Noting that Lady Gaga has recently donated to many organizations that stand against color-based discrimination: Loveland Foundation, Black Lives Matter, Campaign Zero, Marsha P. Johnson Institute, NAACP Legal Defense Fund, Color of Change among others.
