Rihanna reveals date of Savage X Fenty Vol.2

Rihanna has announced that the second show of her lingerie brand, Savage X Fenty will take place on October 2, and will be shown exclusively on Amazon Prime.

The 32-year-old designer made the announcement over Instagram on the September 17^th, when she shared a short teaser that featured the date (October 2) and the names of the celebrities attending the event.

As the executive producer and creative director of the brand, Rihanna is bringing to her second runway celebrities who were already at the first edition of the event last year, including singer Normani, models Bella Hadid and Cara Delevingne, and the plus-size model Paloma Elsesser. Also, the designer has called on other influential stars, such as singer Lizzo, actress Laura Harrier, artist Willow Smith, actress Demi Moore, rapper Big Sean, model Irina Shayk and DJ Paris Hilton. In addition to this star-studded parade, the show will include performances by artists such as Travis Scott, Bad Bunny, Ella Mai and Rosalia.

Celebrating the diversity of bodies and acceptance in a sensual atmosphere, the first show took place in September 2019, made a successful debut in the fashion industry. No doubt, the second edition is therefore also eagerly awaited. Rihanna, who had been criticized "for her successive weight loss and gain", wanted to create this lingerie brand to encourage women around the world to feel confident and stand behind their unique beauty. The line notably offers bras up to 100D and underwear, pajamas or nighties up to 3XL.

The Savage X Fenty show is also an occasion for the brand to break the codes and the rules. A mix of a multi-artists concert and a fashion show, the first edition featured a cast of popular models, dancers, actors and musicians. The second edition, which will be released on October 2 on Amazon Prime, should also be that big.
