Everything you need to know about the new Gucci Film

Heritage, Power and Creativity… The new Gucci Film combines all three in a film set to uncover the secrets of three generations of the Gucci dynasty in Ridley Scott’s upcoming film scheduled for 2021.

The Gucci film will follow the story of Patrizia Reggiano guilty of murdering her ex-husband Maurizio Gucci. The story is written based on Sara Gay Forden’s book, The House of Gucci: A sensational story of Murder, Madness, glamour and greed, published in 2001.

As for the cast, it is no surprise that Ridley Scott chose some golden names, among whom Jeremy Irons (he will be playing Rodolfo Gucci, son of Gucci founder Guccio Gucci, and father of Maurizio), Jared Leto, Al Pacino, and Lady Gaga, who will embody the role of Patrizia Reggiano. The singer is one more time proving herself as a talented and amazing actor. Adam Driver, who will be Maurizio Gucci, will be Lady Gaga’s screen partner.

The filming is to take place in March and April, and we are hoping the pandemic doesn’t interrupt the schedule. The film is to be produced by Scott Free Productions and Kevin Walsh.
