Pastel Hair Is Still In Style This Fall

If you thought that pastel hair has had its moment, think again; street style photos are proving that this trend is not going out of style.
While blonde and brown remain the classic colors, having fun and taking a bold try when it comes to hair coloring is more than recommended. Maybe it’s pandemic boredom or just looking for a way to stand out, but as hairstylist and colorist Christophe-Nicolas Biot explains, “The hair is a tool that is once again becoming essential to be unique”.
This fall, we are looking for softness and fun. After months of successive lockdowns, “quarantints” and at-home hair color, pastel tones are here to brighten our mood, and guess what? Not only they are cool and funky, they will soften your look, and there is this perfect pastel shade for every skin tone.
If you’re worried that pastels mean boring, don’t! From blue to lavender, pink or green, going pastel is fun and bold. The big winners this season are marshmallow pink and sky blue.
We also spotted lilac, which is also one of the major fashion colors this fall, both on the runways and out on the streets.
If you feel like going green, the trend this fall is to stay with your natural color and add some funky green hints; it’s the perfect way to refresh your look without going too crazy. Another option is to mix green with blue for a two-tone effect. Why stick to one shade when you can try two, right?
So, are you ready to unleash your inner unicorn this fall? One small (but important recommendation); don’t dye your hair pastel at home, head to your salon and show an expert colorist some photos of how you want your hair to look like. He/she will guide you through the process, and will use the perfect products so the end result will be great.
