It’s one of the most anticipated physical runway shows of the year: Chanel will present tomorrow, Tuesday November 2, its Cruise 2021/22 collection in Dubai with more than 1,000 guests on the list. For the event, the French luxury house unveils a teaser featuring the models Ola Rudnicka, Nora Attal and Lola Nicon, set in a desert landscape lit by the last rays of sun, against the radiant light of the urban skyline.
This will be Chanel’s second show in Dubai, seven years after the presentation of the Cruise 2014/15 collection in May 2014, with Karl Lagerfeld’s imagined Arabia on The Island, and the first show in Dubai for Virginie Viard, the creative director of the French house since 2019, following the death of Karl Lagerfeld. Since 2000, this Ready-to-Wear collection has become a highly anticipated annual event, and the French fashion house has showcased the Cruise collections in dreamy destinations such as Saint-Tropez, Singapore, Venice, and even Havana in 2016.
