The Secret Behind the Glowing Beauty at Dolce&Gabbana SS 2023 Show

Reinterpreting the concept of the “Divas”, “La Dolce Vita”, the Italian spirit and the world of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, the spring-summer 2023 fashion of the Italian fashion house retraced the story of Dolce&Gabbana. With the aim to discover the brand's most authentic DNA, the collection reflected new meanings using a universal and inclusive language that gives voice to everyone's desires and aspirations.

With Kim Kardashian being the curator of this one-of-a-kind collection, Domenico and Stefano wanted to bring to life the dream of today's woman, exalting feminine beauty in all its forms and expressions: a state of the soul, the attitude and courage that make every woman unique.

The show was complemented by a glow natural make up look highlighting a DG iconic beauty.

Velvet skin Natural Matte Foundation was used to achieve a captivating skin finish that is both flawlessly matte and luminous providing a second-skin effect. The complexion was exalted applying a hint of Blush of Roses in shades Peach 400, Provocative 200 and Apricot 500 according to the model’s skin tones while a touch of luminosity was added to complete the look with Solar Glow Illuminating powder duo in Peach Blossom 2 and Golden Sand 3.

To achieve the iconic cat-eye of the brand, the eyes were exalted with FelinEyes Eyeliner for an intense and sensual look while Passion eyes Intense Volume Mascara in Nero Sicilia 1 catches every lash maximizing the volume and intensity of the gaze.

The lips are defined thanks to The Lip liner in Soft 6, and Bacio 18 and dressed with the Iconic The Only One lipstick, in luminous finish in the shades Hot Sand 120, Sweet Honey 130 and Wild Rosewood 246. The highly-pigments texture, with a creamy finish that glides naturally across the lips gives the fight hint of color to enhance the natural elegance and sensuality of each model.
